The UMD Votes Coalition meets regularly to discuss plans to encourage and increase student engagement with voting through non-partisan education, activities, and support.
The current Coalition membership includes the following individuals:
- Jeni Eltink, Kirby Student Center (Campus Vote Coordinator)
- Sidney Fuhr, Student, Voter Engagement Fellow
- Jacob Hauer, Student, Voter Engagement Fellow, SGA Representative
- Cheryl Skafte, UMD Engage
- Carmen Watson, Office of Diversity & Inclusion
The Coalition works with others from the community to support our efforts, including the City of Duluth City Clerks Office and the League of Women Voters.
