I'm living in a new place. Do I need to re-register to vote?
You will need to update your voter registration to reflect your new address. This would include if you have moved to a new on-campus housing assignment since you last registered.
Do I need to have an ID to vote?
If your voter registration is current and active, you do not need to bring identification. This means you were successfully registered at least 21 days before Election Day and you have not moved or changed names since then.
If you need to register or update your registration, or you have not voted in four years or more, you will need to show proof of residence before you vote.
If you are an on-campus resident and registering to vote on election day, you can show your UCard to verify your identity. The University provides election officials with an on-campus housing list to verify residency.
